Embed a form on your website

Inline, full page, popup, slider, popover or side tab: the embed formats, where to get the code and how it behaves on mobile.

Updated 3 November 2026

An embedded form becomes part of your page instead of sending visitors to a link. Onlyform offers several formats; all of them work on desktop and mobile and all of them use the same published form.

Choose a format

  • Inline: the form sits in the flow of your page, sized to its container.
  • Full page: the form fills the viewport, for a dedicated landing page.
  • Popup: a button or your own trigger opens the form in a modal.
  • Slider: the form slides in from the side of the screen.
  • Popover and side tab: a small launcher stays visible and opens the form on click.

Add the code

  1. Open the Share tab of the form and choose Embed.
  2. Pick the format and adjust the options, such as width, height or the launcher text.
  3. Copy the snippet into your page, or into the HTML block of your website builder.

The snippet loads the form from Onlyform, so edits you publish later appear on your site without touching the code.

Mobile

Inline embeds adjust their height to the questions on screen. Popups and sliders fall back to a full-screen presentation on small screens so the form stays readable.

Tracking on your own site

If your site runs analytics, the embed widget emits events you can listen to for form views, starts and submissions. The developer documentation describes the widget events and attributes.
